“Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week.”

~ Joseph Addison (1672–1719)

Devised by Preliminary Teacher’s Certificate Class to celebrate their class held in Gattonside Village Hall, this Sunday Strathspey is perfect for a leisurely dancing Sunday. Gattonside is a historic village nestled in the Scottish Borders, steeped in centuries-old charm. Once a hub for agriculture and weaving, the village dates back to at least the medieval period. Its location along the River Tweed, directly opposite the abbey town of Melrose, has always played a central role in its development. The iconic Chain Bridge, built in 1826, connects the two communities and remains a vital link for locals and visitors alike. Gattonside’s scenic landscape, traditional stone cottages, and proximity to the Eildon Hills! Happy Dancing Sunday! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🗓️
