"SQUAWK!"

Don't leave your dance program next to a bag of crisps! You never know when a seagull might snatch the lot away! This 16 bar strathspey followed by a 16 bar reel details the dastardly act in the dance description! During the first 16 bars, the seagull first couple cases the the store and then sneaks up on the chips. Upon shifting to reel time, the seagull couple snatches the chips and runs way. In the big finish, all three couples dance the "Grand Slam" as in "Kelso Races" which is meant to mimic the ripping open of the bag and the devouring of the chips! With their keen eyesight and audacious demeanor, these birds can spot a potato chip from a mile away and snatch it mid-flight before you can say "mine!" Seagulls also exhibit remarkable problem-solving skills, have complex communication methods, and are known to drop hard-shelled prey from heights to crack them open. But there is hope, apparently, most seagulls will back off from your snacks and dance program if you stare them in the eye! Squawk! 🌊 🪶 🪶

Shoplifting Seagulls

Seagulls, often seen soaring along coastlines and urban areas alike, have developed a keen sense for following humans in search of food. These opportunistic birds are notorious for their boldness, often swooping down to snatch snacks, sandwiches, and even ice cream cones right out of unsuspecting hands. Their remarkable adaptability allows them to thrive in diverse environments, from beaches to city streets, where they forage for scraps and leftovers. With sharp eyes and swift movements, seagulls have become adept at identifying easy meals, making them a persistent presence wherever food can be found. Their audacious behavior has earned them a reputation as skilled scavengers and clever food thieves, always on the lookout for their next opportunistic feast.
