"Now which way does that reel go?"
If your Monday is starting out a bit hectic, there's always dance class to look forward to ... This 40 bar reel was written for a Monday night class and after dancing it, the class suggested the name! Put your thinking caps on because the diagonal rights and lefts and interlocking reels are followed by changes of direction by alternating pairs of couples! If you can get your set to complete it without going the wrong way, give yourself a round of applause! ðĪŠ ð ð
Monday Madness
"Monday Madness" is a term used to describe various events, promotions, or feelings associated with the start of the week. The phrase has several connotations depending on the context:
Retail Promotions: In the retail and marketing world, "Monday Madness" often refers to special sales or promotions that take place on a Monday. These can include discounts, deals, or exclusive offers aimed at drawing in customers at the start of the week, capitalizing on the idea that people might need a little extra incentive to get through Monday.
Sports Events: In sports, "Monday Madness" can refer to exciting or unexpected events that occur during games held on a Monday. It might be used to describe a particularly intense or unpredictable sports match, such as "Monday Night Football" in the NFL.
Workplace Challenges: The term is sometimes used to describe the chaos or hectic nature of a typical Monday in the workplace. After the weekend, many people face a rush of tasks, meetings, or issues that need to be addressed, leading to a sense of "madness" as they try to get back into the groove of the workweek.
General Feeling of Stress or Excitement: "Monday Madness" can also be a playful or humorous way to describe the heightened emotions, whether stress or excitement, that often accompany the beginning of a new week. It reflects the mix of anticipation and anxiety that many people feel as they tackle the challenges that Monday brings.
