We Can Sew!

The devisor of this dance, Tom Halpenny explained the humorous origin of the title of this dance as  coming from a line in the "Three Amigos" movie.  This 1986 comedy film about three out-of-work silent film actors—Lucky Day, Dusty Bottoms, and Ned Nederlander—who are mistaken for real heroes by a small Mexican village. Believing they are there to perform, the trio soon realizes they must actually confront the ruthless bandit El Guapo and his gang to save the village. Through a series of comedic and daring escapades, the bumbling actors rise to the occasion, discovering their own courage and resourcefulness along the way. "What is it that this town really does well? We can sew!"
